The Gateway Schools program is proud to partner with the Institute of Culinary Excellence and Alison Taafe, professional chef and award wining teacher of professional cookery. Join us in a culinary hands on experience that you will want to take back and implement your new found skills in the classroom immediately.

9.30am – Morning Tea & Tour of the facilities

10.30am – 12.30pm – Practical Session – entrees and mains

12.30pm – Lunch

1pm -4pm – Practical Session – desserts

Learn how to make the same dish go from ’old fashioned’ to 21st century contemporary, cool and modern. This journey will also help with competition training and new techniques culinary judges are looking for.

A certificate of currency with the standards affected will also be provided for this day for auditing purposes.

Please note that the cost listed is for registered Gateway Schools only.  The cost for non Gateway Schools is $209pp includes booking fee and GST.
