The Food, Wine and Tourism Gateway Schools program is proud to partner with C’est Bon’s Managing Director and Chef to bring you an in-depth look into work ethics in the industry with regards to cooking, service and guest satisfaction to name a few.
Join us in learning from one of Cairns’ top restaurateurs where you will learn industry expectations, challenges and ethics. You will also have the opportunity to get hands on experience in preparing a dish with a top Chef.
9am Meet Managing Director Nicolas Devis and Restaurant Manager Kevin Gabsi for front of house overview, expectations and ethics.
10am Chef Nicolas will take you through a hands on cooking session with tips to manage expectations and plating.
12pm Lunch
1pm Nicolas talks about his journey and industry trends. Q&A session.
A certificate of currency with the standards affected will also be provided for this day for auditing purposes.

Nicolas Devic is Managing Director at C’est Bon and has over 20 years experience within the industry. Having previously worked as chef and sous chef with the One & Only Group and Sofitel he also worked with renowned Chef Alain Ducasse’s in France.
*Please also note that the cost listed is for registered Gateway Schools. The cost for non Gateway Schools is $50pp. Each teacher can bring 2 students.
