Have you always wanted to know more about wine? Employment opportunities where the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines would be very applicable include cellar doors, cafes and restaurants, wine bars, hotels and bottle shops. This qualification is recognised internationally in over 70 countries. Course content includes:
- Main styles of wines available in the world
- Principal wine grape varieties
- How to store and serve wine
- Social, health, safety and legal issues regarding wine consumption
- Writing tasting notes based on the WSET System Approach to Tasting
