Have you always wanted to know more about beer? Can you tell the difference between an IPA and a pilsner? The WSET Level 1 Award in Beer is a beginner-level qualification for anyone interested in learning the basics about lagers, ales, sours and more. This short and interactive course includes tasting of a range of beers that support your learning.
Course topics include:
• the main ingredients use to make beer
• production steps in beer making
• beer storage and service
• common beer faults
• pairing beer and food
• characteristics of a range of key beers including malt, hop and yeast driven styles as well as sour styles
WSET qualifications are recognized globally
