Preparing your irrigation system for the 2019 Spring bud burst?

This workshop provides participants with the practical skills to conduct their annual vineyard soil tests, clean and calibrate their irrigation and fertigation equipment and ensure it’s efficient operation throughout the growing season.

As a bonus in the weeks after the workshop all participants’ soil test results will be analysed by Mike Hayes who will provide pre-budburst fertigation advice.

Chelsea Jarvis from USQ’s International Centre for Applied Climate Science, will provide a seasonal forecast, which may determine just how important irrigation will be in the coming months.

Cost for the workshop is $75 and includes tuition, course materials, morning tea and lunch.

This workshop will be conducted by Mike Hayes, the founder and director of Vine to Wine Consulting and the Director of Viticulture for Sirromet Wines.  Mike has worked in all aspects of the industry for 40 years and is a winner of a Churchill fellowship and the 2017 ASVO Winemaker of the Year.
