Teacher Professional Development

This Gateway Teacher PD event is to benefit Hospitality and Cookery Teachers by experiencing all the different elements and layers of running and operating a successful restaurant and bar.

The day event will comprise of:

Beverage Showcase

Headricks Lane Staff will take you through different beverage aspects of their restaurant from their barista, their mixologist and even a meet and greet with their Head Brewer.  You will also do a tour of their in house Brewery.  This will include some tasters and hands on demonstrations.

Back of House Tour by Head Chef or Sous Chef

You will be taken through a back of house tour of the restaurant kitchen to discuss the products offered at Headricks Lane and the direction that teh Head Chef takes when planning and evolving their seasonal menus.

Front of House Guide

Venue Manager, Brendan Irwin will take you through the day to day runnings of the restaurant and function rooms and Emily Coleman from Light Group (company who own Headricks Lane) will go through the employment aspects and training of what they expect from staff at their establishments.

Lunch and beverages are all included during the day.
