| $750A five week online course (plus 1 hour examination) of approximately 6 hours study per week for those wishing to advance their knowledge of the production methods, quality factors and tastes of world wine and spirit styles.
Course content includes:
- Factors that influence wine style, quality and price
- Key wine producing regions of the world
- Understanding terms used on international wine labels in relation to wine style
- Storage and service of wine/wine and food pairing
- How to write advanced descriptions of wine characters and attributes

Please note: Tuition for this course is provided online by the Wine & Spirit Education Trust’s London Wine & Spirit School. It is assumed that students have basic computer literacy and internet navigation skills as well as internet access (broadband is recommended). The QLD College of Wine Tourism (QCWT) will provide the candidate with a WSET Level 2 Study Pack consisting of the course textbook, study guide and associated materials. Wines required for tasting are directed by your online tutor and are purchased at your own expense.
