| $100The Food, Wine and Tourism Gateway Schools program is proud to partner with CyberGuru and business development experts, Chris and Jessie Jeffery to bring you this exciting teacher currency and professional development workshop.
The ‘Social Media as a Marketing Tool’ workshop will highlight the importance of social media to the hospitality and tourism sectors, covering topics such as:
- How social media relates to the tourism and hospitality industries.
- What social media channels should a business be on.
- How to create a Facebook post for business.
- How to determine who your customers are and when they’re online.
- How to interact with customers online.
Participants will also receive two lesson plans for introducing the concepts of social media marketing to their students.
A certificate of currency with the standards affected will also be provided for this day for auditing purposes.
For over 20 years, CyberGuru has worked with small businesses, not-for-profit organisations and individuals to fully utilise current and emerging information, communication and technology. From the beginning CyberGuru has focused on empowering, education and enabling others. Our aim in providing this professional development is to help you equip your students with the skills that the industry needs.
