Wine & Spirit Education Trust WSET Level 2

Do you want to take your wine knowledge to the next level?  The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits qualification provides an industry standard introduction to the main styles of wines available to front-line staff involved in the service or sale of wine.  This qualification aims to provide the product knowledge and skills in the storage and service of wines required to prepare a person for employment in wine hospitality or retail.

This qualification is recognized internationally in over 55 countries.  Course topics include:

• Grape varieties
• Key wine producing regions of the world
• Sparkling wines
• Sweet wines and fortified wines
• Spirits & liqueurs
• Information & advice for customers & staff
• Describing the characteristics of the principal wines of the world
