This Coffee Training Co. course has been designed specifically for teacher professional development, giving the attendee an insight into the craft and skill required to be a barista.  Espresso Fundamentals is an introductory course for teachers with little or no experience preparing and serving espresso coffee.  The content covered includes:

  • Introduction to growing, roasting and harvesting
  • Understanding the espresso machine and grinder
  • The perfect espresso
  • Silky milk every time
  • Free pouring techniques
  • The Espresso Menu

Brent is the founder of The Coffee Training Co. based on the Sunshine Coast and has a rich history in the specialty coffee industry, focusing on training and development. Starting his career in 2001 as a barista, he realised his love for coffee and in the coming years Brent went on to complete his diploma in Hospitality Management.
