TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The Food, Wine and Tourism Gateway Schools program is proud to partner with North Lakes Sports Club and Chef Brenton Crook to bring you an in-depth look into the hospitality industry with regards to cooking, service and guest satisfaction to name a few.  With your entry you are entitled to bring a deserving student to share and learn from this unique opportunity.

Join us in learning from one of our local restaurateurs:

  • You will learn industry expectations, challenges and working with customers.
  • Have the opportunity to get hands on in preparing a dish with our local Chef.

10.00am  Meet Brenton Crook for Front of House overview and expections from staff.

10.30am  Brenton will take you through a hands on cooking session while discussing kitchen management and operations, as well as useful industry tips.

12.30pm  Lunch

1-2pm  Chef Brenton will talk about his journey in becoming a Chef and end off with any questions.

A certificate of currency with the standards affected can also be provided.

Please wear closed shoes and preferably with tied up hair and long pants due to the event being held in a kitchen.
