The Food, Wine and Tourism Gateway Schools program is proud to partner with Qantas Holidays, Kookaburra Cruises and Il Centro Restaurant for an amazing insight into the Tourism & Hospitality Industry.

Join us for a behind the scenes look at the Qantas Holidays Call Centre, Ticketing Department and Sales & Marketing Head Office and understand their distribution model of packaging and selling holidays to the public through wholesalers, retailers and director to consumer channels.

We then will make our way down to Eagle Street Pier to Kookaburra Cruises for a boat tour and chat with owner before heading to Il Centro Restaurant for lunch with guest speakers.

9.30am  Morning Tea & Tour of Qantas Holidays

10-11am  Meet & Greet with key QF staff to discuss their holiday package systems & models, graduate employment opportunities, etc.

12-12.30pm  Kookaburra Boat Tour & Introduction of Showboat Cruises with Owner & Sales Team

1pm  Lunch at Il Centro Restaurant with guest speakers Wayne Clift & Il Centro Head Chef & FOH Manager

A certificate of currency with the standards affected will also be provided for this day for auditing.

Please note that the cost listed is for registered Gateway Schools only.  The cost for non Gateway Schools is $75pp plus booking fee and GST.
